Palm Sunday is one of the most important days in the Christian calendar after Christmas and Easter. ST.PATRICK'S DAY- 17 March

Saint Patrick, who was born in fourteenth century, is the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland. Born in Roman Britain, he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave at the age of 16. He later escaped, but returned to Ireland and was credited with bringing Christianity to its people. In the centuries following Patrick’s death, probably on 17 March 461, many legends grew up around Patrick and he became Ireland's foremost saint. Perhaps the most well-known legend is that he explained the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) using the three leaves of a native Irish clover, the shamrock.

NANCY REAGAN DEAD AT 94

Sad news from the USA :

 Nancy Reagan has died at age 94. The widow of late former President Ronald Reagan and one of the most influential first ladies in United States history passed away Sunday at her home in Los Angeles after suffering congestive heart failure. Nancy was born Anne Frances Robbin in New York City in 1921. Like her husband, Nancy used to be an actor. She and Ronald wed in 1952. They had two children, Patti Davis and Ron Reagan. During her time as First Lady of the United States, Nancy spearheaded the "Just Say No" anti-drug campaign.Nancy will be laid to rest at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California next to her husband, who died in 2004 at age 93 after battling Alzheimer's disease.
